SEATTLE – The New Mexico State women's soccer team was tripped up by Seattle U, 5-0, in a Western Athletic Conference match at Championship Field in Seattle on Saturday night.
The Aggies (1-10-12, 0-4-0) came out strong defensively, weathering a few early runs from Seattle U without giving up any real opportunities. This led to a few chances for NM State, who found success with spreading the defense out wide, with shot deflected in the 25 minute.
Then, New Mexico State caught a break when Jessie Ray's try hit the crossbar before a chance on the other end from that went wide in the 31.
