TEMPE, Ariz. - A solid first half defensive showing was not enough for the Aggies (0-1) in their season opener, as Arizona State (2-0) tacked on three second half goals to take a 4-0 victory on Sunday afternoon at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Ariz.
The two teams would feel each other out in the first 20 minutes of the match, as the two teams took just one shot each. The Sun Devils would strike first in the 22nd minute, but junior goalkeeper kept the Sun Devils in check for the rest of the half recording four total saves in her debut with the Aggies.
