LAS CRUCES, N.M. - In its first action in two weeks, the NM State women's team started strong by winning the doubles point but visiting Wyoming responded in singles play by winning five of the six matches there to claim a 5-2 victory over the Aggies Saturday at the Aggie Tennis Complex.
• Falling behind with a setback on line three, the Aggies bounced back with a pair of hard-fought wins to claim the doubles point.
• Harsha Challa and Gavi Kalaga posted a 7-5 triumph over Maria Oreshkina and Okeksandra Balaba on the top line before Kaela Di Giulio and Chloe Gavino sealed the deal in flight two.
