Tampa, Fla. - The NM State Aggies (9-12) came up just short in two hard fought contests against the South Florida Bulls (5-6) Wednesday afternoon in Tampa, Fla. The Aggies dropped both games by a score of 4-3 including a 12-inning marathon in the final game of the day.
Game One
Redshirt freshman Matalasi Faapito got the Aggies going in the first inning with a solo home run off the scoreboard to give the Aggies a 1-0 lead. USF came back with three runs of its own in the next two innings.
