NACOGDOCHES, Texas – NM State dropped game one of the series against Stephen F. Austin Friday afternoon after the Lumberjacks erupted for eight runs in the final four innings of the game.
Despite having more hits than the 'Jacks, the Aggies couldn't seem to find any answers for SFA's pitching. In total, the Aggies left eight runners stranded on the basepaths and failed to produce a single extra-base-hit.
Half of SFA's hits (6) went for extra bases with two of them coming in big spots with runners on base. Lumberjacks starter, Alexis Telford, pitched the entire game, only allowing just the one run to come across.
