TEMPE, Ariz. – NM State opened up the ASU 8-Team Tournament on Friday morning as they took on UNLV for the second time this season. NM State fell 4-0 to the Rebels and will now seek win number three on Saturday versus Nevada.
- Each NM State duo fought its way to three set wins, however, UNLV would put together a pair of wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions to secure the doubles point and move onto singles action with the advantage.
- After Luca Fé D'Ostiani and Patrick Lohmann dropped their first sets, both bounced back to win their second sets before the match would be clinched.
