UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – As the NM State women's golf team puts the finishing touches on their spring season, the team sits in the middle of the pack at the Redhawk Invitational. NM State is tied for eighth place after the opening day with Sacramento State, shooting 613 (+37).
Valentina Origel paced the Aggies in the second round, shooting a 71 (-1). The sophomore from Irapuato, Mexico shaved 12 strokes off of her opening round score to lead the Aggies.
The Aggies lead the trio of WAC schools in the tournament in their final tune-up before the WAC Championships.
