Aggies Close Wildcat Invitational with Strong Singles Play

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Finishing out the last day of the Wildcat Invitational, the Aggies rounded out with five victories, with four coming from singles play.

Tobias Wallin kicked off the day for the Aggies by defeating Gonzaga's Giovanni Branchetti in a tough match, 6-3, 5-7, 10-3, gaining his first singles win of the tournament. Building on that momentum, Patrick Lohmann followed with a clutch performance, edging out Gonzaga's Jay Fairclough in the Delta Draw, 7-6 (0-5), 6-4, securing the Aggies' second singles victory of the day.

Lance Urlaub earned a victory over Northern Arizona's Noa Tcherniak, 6-4, 2-6, 10-6, while Roko Stipetic secured his first win of the event by defeating Ivan Perisic in a close battle, 7-6 (0-3), 6-4.
