WACO, Texas – The New Mexico State baseball team defeated host Baylor 7-4 on Sunday in the final game of the Baylor Baseball Battle. Freshman Kyle Bradish earned his first collegiate win, going six innings and only allowing five hits with three strikeouts.
The Aggies came out of the gate red hot with six of the eight batters in the inning getting a hit. L.J. Hatch led off with a laser right at the shortstop. Daniel Johnson single up the middle to score Hatch from second. Johnson moved to second on a wild pitch, and then stole third on the next pitch.
