SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Led by Aidan Thomas and Scott Resicgno, the NM State Aggies men's golf program used a two-under par second round to sit in second place after two rounds of the Lone Star Invitational, hosted by UTSA at TPC San Antonio.
Thomas shook off an opening hole triple-bogey and opening round 78 to fire a -2, 70 in the second round, while Resicgno fired an even-par, 72 in the second round to also close the opening 36 holes tied at +4.
Thomas and Resicgno are joined by teammate Garrison Smith at +4 overall, who shot consecutive rounds of 74.
