LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State softball took on Battle of I-25 rival New Mexico in a midweek clash at the Lobo Softball Field on Tuesday. The Aggies topped the Lobos 10-0 in just five innings. tied the single-game record for stolen bases, going 4-for-4 in the win.
NM State (24-19) started the game by drawing a walk and after putting an out on the board, posted an RBI single to give the squad the one-run lead over UNM (12-32). got in on the action with a solo home run over the centerfield fence, extending New Mexico State's lead over the Lobos.
