LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The NM State women's soccer team (4-12-1) was unable to come out on top in a 2-0 loss to Grand Canyon (7-8-1) Friday afternoon at the NM State Soccer Athletic Complex.
The Aggies put the pressure on the Antelopes early in the game, as had a good look just 52 seconds in the game, but she couldn't connect. The Aggies played solid defense on the back line, as the Antelopes took 13 shots in the first half but were held scoreless.
The two teams remained scoreless through the first 28 minutes of the second half.
