LAS CRUCES – New Mexico State's women's tennis team couldn't contain Northern Arizona on Sunday afternoon, falling to the Lumberjacks 4-0 at the NMSU Tennis Center.
"We had chances to win No. 3 doubles and clinch the point, but couldn't close it out," head coach Ivan Fernandez said. "We started too slowly on four courts, only winning the first set on Ash's and Chloe's match."
The Aggies (2-6) had a tough loss in doubles action, falling in three matches. The visitors took No. 1 doubles when they downed NM State's pair of Rimpledeep Kaur and Ashvarya Shrivastav 6-3.
