SEATTLE, Wash. - The NM State softball team (16-15) took a 4-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back in a 6-5 win over Seattle U (15-15) Saturday afternoon at Logan Field in Seattle, Wash. The win snapped a six-game losing streak to the Redhawks dating back to 2019.
After putting up just five runs in two games yesterday against the Redhawks, the Aggies struck for four runs in the first inning. Matalasi Faapito knocked in her 24th RBI of the year on a double to left center to score Hailey Tanori.
