KANSAS CITY – New Mexico State volleyball swept UMKC at the Swinney Recreation Center on Thursday night. The Aggies downed the Roos 25-17, 25-20, 25-17 for their fifth-straight win.
"We were pretty efficient and did a good job serving and digging the ball," head coach Mike Jordan said. "Winning on the road isn't easy."
How It Happened
NM State (16-7, 7-2) started the match by scoring three-straight against UMKC (7-16, 3-7), but a point run by the Roos gave the opposition an early one-point lead. The Aggies went point-for-point with UMKC and small scoring runs gave New Mexico State a 15-11 lead heading into the media timeout.
