RIO DE JANEIRO – After four competitive days of golf, Alena Sharp led the pack of three New Mexico State alumnae that competed in the 2016 Rio Olympics on Saturday. Sharp (CAN) tied for 30th while Gwladys Nocera (FRA) finished in a tie for 39th and Ursula Wikstrom tied for 44th.
Sharp, who is playing the best golf of her career entering these Olympics, finished with a 1-over 285 card on the par-71, 6,245 yards Olympic Course. The LPGA veteran had solid rounds on days two and four, but her 72 and 75 cards in rounds one and three set the Canadian back.
