The University of New Mexico women’s basketball team will be losing another player to a transfer after the conclusion to the 2017-18 season.
N’Dea Flye, a freshman guard for the Lobos last season, announced on Twitter Tuesday afternoon her decision to leave the university.
Flye’s the second player to transfer, as Mykiel Burleson, a sophomore guard for the Lobos last season, decided to leave UNM too in search of more playing time elsewhere.
“I want to start off by saying, thank you UNM for a great freshman season,” Flye’s tweet read. “Thank you to my teammates for not just being there for me on the basketball court, but also off the court.
