After a two-game road skid, a conference game at home was a welcome sight for the University of New Mexico women’s basketball team.
On Saturday, after 10 days since their last win when they defeated Boise State, the Lobos hosted Fresno State at Dreamstyle Arena — a game UNM won, 88-75, behind an offensive resurgence, in which the Lobos nailed nine 3-pointers (9-for-21) after making only 3-of-16 just one game ago.
UNM (16-3, 4-2 MW) made 44.3 percent of its attempts, behind Jaisa Nunn (20 points, 10 rebounds) and Cherise Beynon’s (20 points, 10 assists) double-double outings.
