ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- Four practices down ... basically five weeks to go until the season opener on September 2 against Abilene Christian. The Lobos opened up Fall Camp on Thursday with the first of four straight acclimation practices before getting a day off on Monday. Thursday and Friday saw the team inside Dreamstyle Stadium in just helmets for a pair of evening practices, while Saturday and Sunday saw the team out on the South Practice Fields for a pair of mid-day practices wearing shells (helmets and shoulder pads).
The Lobos opened camp with 104 players (the maximum allowed is 105), and the downloadable practice roster has the breakdown by position.
