Updated: Where are they now?

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The annual offseason college football job shuffle has involved several names familiar to those who follow the sport in New Mexico.

Who, for starters, could forget J.B. Gerald?

Gerald, former UNM coach Mike Locksley’s wide receivers and recruiting coordinator in 2009, has been hired by new Syracuse coach Dino Babers as the Orange’s director of high school relations. Since 2010, Gerald has been the football head coach and a basketball assistant coach at Washington (D.C.) Jesuit Academy.

Midway through the ’09 season, as many will recall, Gerald and Locksey had a physical altercation in a UNM football office meeting room.
