No one on the University of New Mexico’s South Campus, it seems, calls Dameon Gamblin by his first name. To his football teammates and coaches alike, he’s “Gambo.”

Gamblin, a junior from Mesquite, Texas, caught four passes in his first two seasons as a Lobo.
