ALBUQUERUQUE, N.M.— The University of New Mexico women's cross country team maintained its spot at the No. 2 ranking in the USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Women's Cross Country National Coaches' Poll released on Tuesday morning, the third week that the Lobos have been second.
However, in a slight change, Arkansas moved up one spot in to a tie with UNM, each receiving 312 points. One variation is that the Lobos received two first-place votes whereas the Razorbacks only received one.
Colorado still claims the top spot in the rankings with seven first-place votes and received just one more point than Arkansas and New Mexico.
