From dance moves in Vegas to basketball moves in the Pit.
That’s the unusual trajectory Brooke Berry plans to follow after committing this week to play women’s basketball at the University of New Mexico.
A highly recruited 6-foot senior guard from Skyview High School in Billings, Montana, Berry also plays AAU ball for Northwest Blazers. She led Montana’s Class AA (the state’s largest classification) in points and assists as a junior last season, averaging 18.2 and 5.0, respectively.
Berry is well aware of the difference between turning heads in sparsely populated Montana and shining on a national stage.
