COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- When you break, set or tie that many record with one kick, and it was just one of a host of great kicks, this was bound to happen. Punter Tyson Dyer was named the Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week by league officials on Monday after his record-setting performance against Air Force. Along with Dyer, Utah State quarterback Jordan Love was the Offensive Player of the Week, and UNLV's Jericho Flowers was the Defensive Player of the Week.
Dyer averaged a career-best 50.1 yards per punt on seven boots against Air Force, and his net was 45.
