Tucson, Ariz.—The University of New Mexico men's tennis squad finished their second day of the Wildcat Invitational yesterday with promising match wins.
Sean Baklini won his consolation match against Donovan Cellopica of New Mexico State University 6-3, 6-7 (5), 11-9. Rodolfo Jauregui started out strong during his match, but fell short to University of Arizona's Jason Jaruvang 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. Getting him one step closer to his flight final, Michael Tran defeated Will Adkisson of University of Arizona by a score of 2-6, 6-3, 6-4.
"It was a long successful day in terms learning and getting reps," said head coach Bart Scott.
