INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Three programs at The University of New Mexico, men's basketball, men's golf and women's golf, have been honored with public recognition by the NCAA for having its 2018-19 Academic Progress Rates in the top 10 percent of the NCAA in its respective sport. It's a seventh consecutive season for women's golf to be honored and a fifth straight for men's golf.
Men's basketball was honored for the first time since 2014, which was for the 2012-13 academic year.
Overall, UNM has now seen 32 sports recognized by the NCAA for superior APR scores since the first APR Public Recognition announcement in 2006.
