RENO, Nev. – Justin Olson homered twice and drove in three runs, but New Mexico fell 13-4 to Nevada Sunday in the rubber game of the three-game Mountain West Conference baseball set at Don Weir Field at Peccole Park.
The Lobos came into the weekend ranked 280th of 293 NCAA Division I teams in earned run average, a whopping 8.32. That number will go up, since all but three of the 41 runs Nevada scored this weekend were earned. Justin Still (1-2) took the loss as the starter and first of five Lobo pitchers, allowing five earned runs (eight overall) on 10 hits in three innings.
