IRVING, Texas – Senior midfielder Simon Spangenberg had been named to the 2018 InTouch Credit Union Conference USA Men's Soccer All-Academic Team as it was announced by the league office on Monday.

For Spangenberg, this is the second-straight year in which he has been honored on the C-USA All-Academic Team. A native of Brussels, Belgium is currently a double major in computer science and applied mathematics. Additionally, Spangenberg is minoring in psychology. Despite the heavy academic workload, Spangenberg excels in the classroom with a GPA of 4.
