To call the Missouri State men’s soccer team stingy on defense might be an understatement.
The Bears had not allowed a goal in a whopping 411 minutes and 26 seconds. Their only problem was that total did not include all 90 minutes of Friday night’s game at New Mexico.
Niko Hansen ended that scoreless streak with a goal in the 64th minute as the No. 17-ranked Lobos prevailed 1-0 in the TLC Plumbing & Utility Invitational at the UNM Soccer Complex.
“That was a well-played game,” UNM coach Jeremy Fishbein said. “That’s not an easy team to beat.
