ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Admittedly, I’ve haven’t seen enough when it comes to Lobo basketball this season.
But I’ve certainly heard enough. Especially on Saturday.
Most callers to the KKOB-AM postgame show were disappointed, even disgusted, with coach Craig Neal and his team after it was shocked 70-68 in the Pit by Wyoming. But several supporters defended “Noodles” and his coaching decisions —particularly that it was more important for him to teach a lesson, referring to his benching of starter Elijah Brown, than win a game.
He couldn’t do both?
Especially against Wyoming?
