ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- Dorsey Tierney-Walker, who has served as the head coach for The University of New Mexico's women's swimming and diving team since 2016, has announced that she is leaving UNM to take an assistant coaching position with Ohio State.
The move comes after UNM's swimming and diving program reached unprecedented heights under Tierney-Walker, as the 2018-19 team finished with its highest Mountain West finish, fourth place, in program history. Adriana Palomino won three races in the championships and became UNM's first Mountain West "Swimmer of the Meet" Award winner.
