HOUSTON, Texas. --- Ryan Langford's uphill climb to the NFL is off and running. Langford, who went to the Houston Texans' minicamp on a tryout, was signed as an undrafted free agent today with the Texans.
Langford is now the sixth Lobo currently signed with an NFL team, following Glover Quin (Detroit), Byron Bell (Tennessee), Dillon Farrell ( New York Giants), SaQwan Edwards (Oakland) and Jhurell Pressley (Minnesota Vikings).
Langford, who was the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week last season after UNM's 31-24 win at Boise State, was sixth on the team in tackles with 53, despite only starting two games.
