And, yes, the going got tough, really tough. Faced for yet another year with some of the most stringent coronavirus restrictions in the nation, New Mexicans kept finding a way.
If it meant Lobos and Aggies playing “home games” in Texas, Utah or Arizona, living in hotels while not setting foot in an actual restaurant, so be it.
If it meant wearing a face mask while playing football, basketball or volleyball, or wrestling, or running 3 miles, well, fine.
