ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Lobos’ list of football commitments grew by (at least) two on Monday, with a versatile athlete from Illinois and a punter from California announcing they’ll attend UNM.
Rhashaun Epting is a 6-foot-4, 223-pound athlete from Proviso West High School in Hillside, Ill., who primarily played defensive end for the Panthers but was recruited by some schools as a tight tend.
Corey Bojorquez averaged 43.8 yards per punt in the fall for Cerritos College in Norwalk, Calif.
Epting and Bojorquez announced their commitments to UNM on Twitter on Monday within an hour of each other.
