New Mexico got off to less than an ideal start to open up the 2015-2016 season in its three day trip to the Park City Invitational in Utah.
UNM finished off the opening competition of the season in fifth place with a final score of 214. The men finished in 6th place as a while the women finished in fourth during the event which lasted from Jan. 4 through Jan. 6.
Although the women’s tally of 131 during the slalom and the giant slalom runs far exceeded the men’s scores of 83 across the same two events, two of the three Colorado schools participating ran the show.
