KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the 15th time in the last 16 years, the University of New Mexico men's soccer team has earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award as it was announced by the media outlet on Thursday. This latest academic achievement was credited to the 2017-18 men's soccer team.

That team was one of 289 men's soccer teams across the country to be recognized for their overall academic efforts in the academic year of 2017-18. Additionally, the 2017-18 Lobos were one of five schools from Conference USA to earn the award.
