LAS VEGAS, Nev. --- Senior Anthony Mathis of The University of New Mexico men's basketball team has been named to the 2019 All-Mountain West Third Team following his stellar senior season that has included tying the all-time UNM program record for most 3-pointers in a single season (102).
The honor marks the second straight third team honor for Mathis.
After seeing just 328 minutes in his first two seasons as a Lobo and collecting just 86 points, Mathis has exploded in his final two seasons. He now posts 960 points, just 40 shy of 1,000, in 1,898 minutes.
