Long leaving UNM for Syracuse

Rocky Long, the former University of New Mexico head football coach who has been the Lobos’ defensive coordinator the past three seasons under Danny Gonzales, is leaving to take the D-coordinator’s job at Syracuse University.

Syracuse made the announcement Saturday morning after several days of rumors to that effect.
