ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- There will be plenty on the line and plenty to honor Friday night as The University of New Mexico women's soccer team wraps up its home schedule against Wyoming at UNM Soccer Complex before hitting the road Sunday at Colorado State.
The Lobos (7-6-3 overall, 3-4-1 Mountain West) sit in a tie for seventh place in the Mountain West with Air Force at 10 points. New Mexico trails Friday's foe Wyoming by two points for the sixth and final spot for the Mountain West Tournament - meaning a win over the Cowgirls would leap frog the Lobos into at least a tie for sixth (however, UNM lost the head-to-head matchup with Air Force as the Falcons own that tiebreaker.
