Tipping Off
The University of New Mexico women's basketball team is set to play for the championship of the 2018 Lobo Invitational after a convincing 85-53 win over Sacramento State a night ago. In that game, the Lobos' defense stole the headlines as they held the high-powered offense of the Hornets to 32.8 points below their season scoring average heading into the game. It was also the sixth time this season and fourth-straight that the Lobos have held an opponent in the 50s in scoring. Futhermore, it was the fourth time that they have done so while scoring at least 80 points on their end.
