ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico women's basketball team continues to shine in WisePies Arena after an 83-43 victory over Nicholls State Tuesday night.
The Lobos improve to 3-1 on the season and have now won 15 straight games in WisePies Arena, dating back to Dec. 18, 2014. Nicholls State drops to 2-1 on the season.
Bryce Owens led the squad with 15 points, going 6-for-11 from the field, including 2-for-5 from 3-point range. She brought down six rebounds to go along with two assists and one steal. Freshman Jaisa Nunn was second on the team with 14 points and led the team with nine boards, six coming on the offensive side.
