The University of New Mexico rallied from a 15-point halftime deficit to defeat New Mexico State 38-29 on Saturday at University Stadium in the 106th football meeting between the two schools.
The 0-4 Aggies led 26-14 after three first-half touchdowns by Larry Rose III. They upped that lead to 29-14 early in the third quarter, but UNM (3-2) dominated the rest of the game.
