RENO, Nev. – The offense of the University of New Mexico women's soccer team has been on fire as of late and on Sunday, the Lobos turned up the heat some more against Nevada by scoring four second-half goals en route to a decisive 5-1 win. The five-goal output for the Lobos tied a season-high set at home against Idaho State.
In scoring five goals, the Lobos' (8-5-2, 4-2-2 MW) offensive attack, like it has been all season, was spread out as there were five different players that scored goals. Of those, three registered their first goals of the season.
