ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— Following a successful weekend at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in which The University of New Mexico women's team finished a program-best eighth in the team standings with a program-best 27 points, the Lobos acquired seven All-American selections as announced by the USTFCCCA on Monday.
Kelati led the Lobos with two first team distinctions after winning the 10,000-meter and finishing fifth in the 5000-meter. The sophomore became the first Lobo to win the NCAA title in the 10,000-meter event as well as earned her first NCAA title. Her time of 33:10.84 was also significant in that it set a facility record by 20.
