ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – After trailing 2-0 at the 17-minute mark of the first half, the University of New Mexico women's soccer team rallied from there on Friday night with two goals of their own en route to earning a hard-fought tie against Boise State, who came in unbeaten in Mountain West Conference play and atop the league standings.
"I was pleased after going down 2-0 to the team (Boise State) who has the best record in the conference and to fight back to get it to 2-2 takes some grit," noted UNM head women's soccer coach Heather Dyche.
