FORT COLLINS, Colo. --- In their opening game in Mountain West play, The University of New Mexico women's soccer team also played their first overtime match of the season, but ultimately dropped a 1-0 result to Colorado State on Friday evening in Fort Collins, Colo.
The game-winning shot came from CSU's (6-2-1, 1-0-0) Caeley Lordemann in the 96 minute of the match. In defeat, the Lobos (4-4-0, 0-1-0) outshot the Rams 15-13 in the game with six of those shots coming on goal.
The Lobos led the first half of the game offensively, taking a majority of their shots in the first 45' as they took nine of their 15 shots.
