While he isn’t a fan of the suggestion his Wyoming Cowboys play at a “slow” pace, especially when it comes from those annoying reporter types, he acknowledges his philosophy of making opponents defend deep into the shot clock often brings on visible frustration of opposing players.
“I see certain individuals that love to play offense get frustrated,” said Shyatt on Saturday after his team beat the UNM Lobos in the Pit, 70-68. “And if we can get them fouled and get them to the wood (the bench), I see them more frustrated because now they can’t score from the bench.
