STANFORD, Calif. – The Lobo women’s golf team finished in fifth place among 13 teams competing at the Peg Barnard Invitational after shooting a 293 (+9) on Sunday in the second round of play, three shots better than their round one total. After two rounds the Lobos tallied a total score of 589, 21-over par.
Grasping the team medal was Washington with a two-day total of 571 (+3), shooting four-under on the day and cutting off 11 strokes from their round one total. Three strokes behind the Huskies was Stanford with a total score of 574 (+6). Cal finished third with a score of 5 (+9) and Oregon landed in fourth with a score of 583 (+15).
