University of New Mexico men’s tennis hopes to build on an eventful fall campaign as it turns to its “spring” season that begins this weekend with the inaugural Jack Kennedy Classic, named after UNM’s first tennis All-American.
The Lobos open Friday at 3 p.m. vs. UT Arlington, then host Gonzaga on Sunday at 11 a.m. All matches are taking place in the Linda Estes Indoor Tennis Bubbles instead of outdoors in the expected cold. Admission is free.
In the fall, the Lobos hosted two major tournaments including the 2022 Fall ITA Mountain Regionals and had some terrific individual performances.
