The University of New Mexico defeated Texas Southern 86-57 on Friday night in the Lobo men’s basketball season opener at the Pit.
The game was the first of a ROOT Sports-televised doubleheader at the Pit, with the UNM women taking on Houston Baptist in the nightcap.
